Refund Policy
1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
You may cancel any paid plugin purchase within 14 days of the transaction date and receive a full refund, for any reason or no reason at all. You do not need to justify the request, describe a defect, or attempt troubleshooting first. This right is granted by EU Directive 2011/83/EU (the Consumer Rights Directive) and by Paddle's Buyer Terms, and it applies to every paid edition sold through this site regardless of where you reside — we extend the same right to all customers as a matter of policy.
To exercise this right, contact us within 14 days of your purchase, or open a refund request directly through your Paddle receipt. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
Where applicable law permits, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the period during which you actively used the plugin before requesting withdrawal. This deduction is calculated on a strictly pro-rata basis and never exceeds the value of the service actually consumed.
2. Digital goods & license model
Goldnat plugins are digital products delivered instantly upon purchase. Each paid edition is tied to a license key validated in real time by goldnat.ai. When a license is revoked (including after a refund), the plugin stops functioning within 24 hours — so a refund is a genuine reversal, not a loophole.
3. Refunds after the 14-day window
After 14 days, the statutory right described in Section 1 no longer applies, but we will still issue a full refund in the following additional cases:
- The plugin does not work on your site and our support team cannot resolve the issue within 5 business days.
- You were charged twice for the same plan due to a billing error on our side or Paddle's side.
- We discontinued the plugin without providing a reasonably comparable alternative or a prorated credit.
Beyond those cases, refunds outside the 14-day window are at our discretion. If the plugin has a major defect that we cannot resolve, contact us and we will make it right.
4. What happens after a refund
Your license key is deactivated within 24 hours of the refund being issued. The plugin will stop loading on your site. The free edition (where available) remains usable indefinitely and is not affected by the refund of a paid edition.
5. Annual subscriptions — cancellation vs refund
To avoid renewal charges on an annual subscription, cancel from the Paddle billing portal at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges but does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current period. Renewal refunds are considered under Sections 1 and 3 above.
6. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment, remits applicable sales tax and VAT, issues receipts in its own name, and — in some jurisdictions — may issue refunds directly under applicable consumer law, independent of this policy. In every case Paddle honors the 14-day right of withdrawal described in Section 1.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Almost every issue — including simple withdrawal requests within the 14-day window — can be resolved directly and faster through us or Paddle. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending investigation.
